Why we don’t use waterproofing

Most waterproofing layers are made with harmful substances like:

- Vinyl (PVC)

- Polyurethane

- Formaldehyde

Chlorinated flame retardants

These can release VOCs and contribute to respiratory issues, eczema, attention disorders, and other health concerns.

In addition, waterproofing blocks airflow — a key factor in overheating and discomfort for babies.

That’s why we say no to synthetic barriers and yes to breathable, natural protection.
