Two-in-one design features a firm, breathable sleep space for infants and a latex cushioned side for toddlers. Natural rubber latex contours to baby’s natural posture and promotes better breath-ability for a healthier start to life. The superior softness of the organic bamboo outer cover provides comfort and convenience. It is a topper and a mattress protector in one that zips off for washing and care.

Our baby has been sleeping on the mattress for a few weeks now and seems to love it. We were looking for a tiny version of ours and seemed to have found it. I love the feel of the cover too. Being organic was really important to us.

My baby has not slept on this mattress as yet but I can see it is of good quality. I am a little worried about the smell.. I am guessing the wool smell will dissipate over time? Overall seems like a nice mattress and I just have to pray this baby is not allergic to the smell of wool !

You will be pleased to know that around 1% of the population has a latex allergy and wool allergies are even less common. The mattress is covered by a cotton casting and a pebble mattress protector. Thus, there are no direct skin-to skin contact with wool inside the mattress which eliminates the risk of a wool allergy. The smell of wool is completely natural. Other companies use heavy chemicals and bleach to wash their wool or try and mask the wool smell using artificial fragrances. Our wool is washed with hot water and organic soap. This process allows our wool fibre to retain two to four percent of its lanolin oi. Lanolin oil is a natural dust-mite repellent.
Our mattresses are anti-microbial, free from VOCs, breathable, and durable. Best of all they do not release chemical emissions into your home which is commonly associated with memory foams and synthetic latex mattresses. They do not off-gas and are safe and non-toxic.

Firm Feel

100% Natural Dunlop Latex
We use Dunlop latex in our mattresses because it is more eco-friendly than Talalay latex, which requires more processing. Our Dunlop latex is sourced from tree-tapped and sustainable sources in Asia. Dunlop latex is naturally antimicrobial, cooler than memory foam, and also more durable than Talalay latex. On all Milari Mattresses we use seamless layers of Dunlop latex. No blended or synthetic latex is used, there are no seams to break down over time, and no solvent-based chemical adhesives.

Natural Australian Wool

The benefits of organic wool’s complex and natural physio-chemical structure are endless: it wicks away moisture, keeps your mattress smelling fresh, and acts as yet another all-natural fire barrier. It’s breathable — both warm and cool when you need it. Its natural crimp gives it bounce, body and soft support characteristics. And it’s also non-allergenic (ideal for those who suffer allergies to feather and down or synthetic bedding products) and a renewable resource. No additives or synthetics are added to the wool. It is scoured with a biodegradable detergent then treated, before being rinsed again and steamed. At Milari Organics, we add a layer of pure, naturally crimped Australian Wool (0.5 cm per standard mattress on each side) under the certified organic cotton inner cover in every mattress.

Tencel Outer Pebble Cover

For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic tencel / poly-blend cover. Our soft pebble cover is naturally derived from 100% sustainably grown organic eucalyptus fabric. This sustainably made fabric give you a healthy sleep, it is also good for baby’s scalp, skin and the environment. This beautiful pebble cover is removable and fully machine washable. It sits on top of 100% organic cotton casing which secures the internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives.

Our mattress is dual sided featuring an ultra-firm coconut coir side for infants and a firm rubber tree latex side for toddlers. Firmness Rating on a scale of 1 – 10 (with 10 being the firmest) our standard Milari Green Mattress rates as about an 8 to a 9, depending on the side.
