100% NATURAL DUNLOP LATEX RUBBER
NATURAL & ORGANIC
At Milari Organics, our green mattresses are made with 100% natural latex to produce the most green, healthy and luxuriously supportive foam imaginable. Here’s how we do it: We begin by harvesting pure rubber sap from Hevea Brasiliensis trees in Asia. No trees are harmed in the process. (They yield latex for up to 30 years.) We then follow the traditional Dunlop manufacturing process that’s been in use since 1929: we whip the latex sap into a froth, pour it into molds, cover it, and steam bake it. The end result is a clean and green material that’s amazingly resilient, supportive and durable.
BREATHABLE
Synthetic foams and memory foams trap body heat and radiate it back, which results in uncomfortable perspiration. Our natural latex allows air to circulate naturally. By whisking away body heat, natural latex helps regulate your body temperature to ensure cool, restorative sleep.
ANTI-MICROBIAL
Natural latex is inherently resistant to mold, mildew and bacteria, and acts as a natural barrier to dust mites. When you consider that the average person sheds millions of microscopic skin cells and perspires nearly one pint of water every night, it’s important to create an environment where these contaminants can not thrive.
OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED
Our 100% natural latex has been tested and proven to exceed the legal requirements for quality and health harmlessness of latex and mattress products. It means that our latex does not contain volatile organic compounds, persistent organic compounds, heavy metals, pesticides, formaldehyde or phthalates.
VOC FREE
Natural latex does not emit a chemical odor or Volatile Organic Compounds, unlike memory foam or petroleum-based polyurethane foams.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
PURE, Natural latex is one of the most environmentally-friendly mattress materials available. The harvesting of the sap is sustainable; and the rubber trees help to purify the air and water, and promote biodiversity. Latex, despite being so highly durable and resilient, is biodegradable.
